Consult on Home Selling Tactics
Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. We can make your home attractive to its ideal audience with our on staff stager-which can help you get top dollar. Staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.

Meet Franne Schwarb:

Franne Schwarb

I was born and raised on the east coast- Charleston, SC  will always be my home.

My husband and I met in New York City and married in 1971. By 1980, my family had settled in the Atlanta suburbs. I had followed my husband across the country and back again as he changed jobs and companies, and I had given birth to three children, each in a different state. By 1991, as my oldest child was leaving for college and the younger two were becoming more self-sufficient, I’d only had two careers in my life: nurse and mother. My own Realtor® told me, “I think you would make a great real estate agent.” I decided it was time to do something for me, so I registered for real estate school. Yes, funny as it sounds, real estate seemed to be my path to fulfillment in middle age.

My real estate career began in Atlanta, where the majority of my clients were corporate relocations. They usually arrived on a Thursday, bought a home quickly, and left on Sunday or Monday. It was fun and exciting to help people relocate to a new area, just as I had relocated so many times before.

When my husband took a job in Charleston, I wasn’t sure I wanted to go. Eighteen years in Atlanta had made that city feel like home, but I decided to make a go of it, and off I went to start a new adventure.

Our second son has some special needs. He was already working for Publix, so he transferred to their Mt. Pleasant store. Our daughter went into her junior year at Wando High School in Mount Pleasant.  I continued my real estate career, first in general brokerage and then as a site agent at Dunes West. When Dunes West changed owners I went back to general brokerage and have been helping people move ever since.

I am licensed as a Broker in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and I am a Realtor®, which means I am bound by the National Association of Realtors code of ethics. I’m also a member of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage “A” relocation team. I am certified to work with USAA and Navy Federal buyers and many relocation companies, including Cartus.

Real Estate is what I do, and I love my job - I’ve been a Realtor® for 25 years now. My team member, Chari and I laughingly say we work 25 hours a day, seven days a week. But that’s fine by me and my supportive husband of 45 years, my three grown children, and my four grandchildren.

Real estate is a team sport.

Thank you to our clients and families, our team, for helping us achieve Charleston Trident Association of Realtors®, Realtor® of Distinction for 2016.

Our broker in charge, aka fearless leader, Ann Whalen, was chosen as 2016 Realtor® of the year. Her support is immeasurable.
